It's the passion for beautiful shoes with the talent of my fingers which follow my ideas. In 2000, EPHTEE was born. We first of all proposed a line of polishing caskets, then the list became bigger: small furniture like the seat for polishing "Figaro", trunks to put or carry your shoes collection.
Which domain do you work in ?
What we do for shoes, we also do it for all kind of objects of your passion: watches, weapons, cigars, wine..
We work for houses and particulars customers who feel like enjoying exclusive rights.
How do you distinguish yourself in the luxury world?
We are a very small company. We work with woods, leathers and metals like brass. Everything is fabricated in our workshop located near Bordeaux.
All of our efforts is in our creativity. We have friends in Japan, Russia, Italy, Switzerland, Belgium, and Holland who have shops and sell our creations.
Do you meet your clients ?
Although we especially make adapted measures, e talk with our customers as professionals, as particulars by phone or e-mail.
It often happens that we don't meet the customer who we realize a trunk for, from the other part of the world.
What is the moment you like the most ?
Each trunk is unique, even those who know several copies, however, each fabrication is a thrilling adventure, sometimes eventful, with a happy end.
What about the costs ?
They correspond to the craft job. This is the spent time which is preponderant in the cost of a product. Our prices are very studied and our line very larde for all tastes.
EPHTEE's growth ?
Positive! We are close from our first decade of existence with a lot of plans and new establishments like in New-York in September. |
