Embossing
Positive
Positive embossing consists of giving volume to the material. It is possible to inscribe initials, a phrase or a logo. The leather is then sheathed on a previously worked form.
Negative
Negative embossing, or debossing, consists of hollowing out the wooden barrel (without diminishing its technical properties) in order to inscribe initials, a phrase or a logo. Debossing is less common than positive embossing.
